Pengaruh Metode Langsung Dalam Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab Bagi Siswa MI Sebagai Pembelajar Pemula

This article aims to analyze the effect of direct method in Arabic language learning for MI students as beginner learners. In general, the Arabic language education system in Indonesia from the past until today there are still many educational institutions, including pesantren, which use similar methods and skills, not developing. In the current era of globalization, Arabic language skills offer many opportunities and are increasingly needed in various fields such as in education, business, and diplomacy. By learning Arabic early on, MI students will be better prepared to face future opportunities and challenges. One method that can be used to learn Arabic is the direct method. The research method used in this article is a library research method with a qualitative description method. The research data were collected from various sources, such as scientific journals, books, articles, and research reports. The results show that the direct method has a positive and significant effect on the Arabic language skills of MI students as beginner learners. This is shown by the students' ability to communicate orally in Arabic, understanding the structure of Arabic, and being motivated to learn Arabic.
