AUTHOR GUIDELINES

Author Guidelines

1. General Requirements

  1. Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by any other journal.
  2. The manuscript should be relevant to the scope of the journal, including:
    • Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Education
    • Learning and Teaching
    • Curriculum Development
    • Educational Technology and Media
    • Educational Assessment and Evaluation
    • Teacher Professional Development
    • Islamic Elementary Education
  3. Articles may be written in Bahasa Indonesia or English.
  4. Authors must submit manuscripts through the Online Journal System (OJS).
  5. All manuscripts will be screened for plagiarism before being processed for review.

2. Manuscript Format

  • File format: Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx)
  • Paper size: A4
  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
  • Line spacing: 1
  • Margins: 3 (top), 3 (left), 2 (bottom), dan 2 (right). Before 0 pt, after 0 pt
  • Length: 5,000–8,000 words, including references, tables, and figures.
  • Use the journal template provided on the website.

3. Manuscript Structure

Title

  • Clear, concise, and informative.
  • Maximum 15 words.

Author Information

  • Full name(s) without academic titles.
  • Institutional affiliation.
  • Email address of the corresponding author.

Abstract

  • 150–250 words.
  • Written in English and Bahasa Indonesia
  • Contains objectives, methods, findings, and conclusions.

Keywords

  • 3–5 keywords.
  • Separated by comma (,).

Introduction

Contains:

  • Background of the study.
  • Research gap.
  • Problem statement.
  • Research objectives.
  • Significance of the study.

Method

Contains:

  • Research design.
  • Participants/respondents.
  • Data collection techniques.
  • Instruments.
  • Data analysis procedures.

Results and Discussion

Contains:

  • Research findings.
  • Interpretation of findings.
  • Comparison with previous studies.
  • Theoretical and practical implications.

Conclusion

Contains:

  • Main findings.
  • Contributions of the study.
  • Recommendations for future research.

References

  • Use APA Style 7th Edition.
  • All cited references must appear in the reference list and vice versa.
  • Authors are strongly encouraged to use Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.
  • At least 80% of references should be from scholarly journals published within the last 10 years.

4. Tables and Figures

  1. Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively.
  2. Each table and figure must have a title/caption.
  3. Tables and figures should be placed within the manuscript near the relevant discussion.
  4. Images should be of high quality and clearly readable.

5. Citation and Referencing Style

The journal uses APA (American Psychological Association) 7th Edition style for in-text citations and references.
