METODE INQUIRY DALAM PERSPEKTIF PANCASILA TERHADAP KOGNITIF SISWA KELAS XI IPA 2 MAN 2 PIDIE JAYA

Abstract

This study aimed to determine efforts to improve the cognitive abilities of students in the 11^th grade IPA 2 at MAN 2 Pidie Jaya during the 1^st semester of the 2021/2022 academic year using the inquiry method within a Pancasila perspective. The research method used is PTK (Classroom Action Research). The research subjects were 18 students of the 11^th grade IPA 2 MAN 2 Pidie Jaya in the 2021/2022 academic year with heterogeneous abilities. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, field notes and tests or evaluations. The results of the study showed that the average learning outcomes of students in the pre-cycle were 61.94 with 16.67% of students completing the KKM. In cycle I, the average student score was 74.44 with student completion according to KKM being 72.22%. Meanwhile, in cycle II, the average student score was 80.83 with the KKM completion reaching 94.44%. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the inquiry method from a Pancasila perspective can improve students' cognitive abilities.
