PENGARUH MOTIVASI KERJA KEPALA SEKOLAH TERHADAP KEPUASAN KERJA GURU DI SMA NEGERI 1 MUTIARA

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the principal's work motivation on teachers' job satisfaction at SMA Negeri 1 Mutiara. This research uses a quantitative approach with an associative method. The data analysis techniques used were simple and multiple linear regression analysis, t-test and F-test. The results of the study showed that there was a significant influence between the principal's work motivation on teacher job satisfaction of 79.1%. This implies that the principal's work motivation affects teachers' job satisfaction and, consequently, the achievement of optimal performance; the higher the principal's work motivation, the greater the teachers' job satisfaction. Teachers deserve factors that boost their enthusiasm for carrying out their duties, as they are likely to deliver better performance when they possess strong professional competence and receive adequate work motivation.
