PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN METODE JARIMATIKA TERHADAP KOGNITIF SISWA KELAS III MIN 39 PIDIE

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the jarimatika method on the cognitive abilities of the 3^rd grade students at MIN 39 Pidie. The type of research was experimental design—specifically, a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design—involving the administration of tests both before and after the intervention. The sample consisted of of the 3^rd grade students from MIN 39 Pidie. Data collection techniques included testing and interviews. The results of the t-test analysis showed a 2-tailed significance value of 0.000 (less than 0.05); the calculated t-value was 5.551, while the t-table value (with df = 13 at a 5% significance level) was 2.160. Since the calculated t-value exceeded the t-table value (5.551 > 2.160), the research hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that the jarimatika method has an effect on the cognitive abilities of of the 3^rd grade students at MIN 39 Pidie.
